Pigerne åbner gaver // The girls are opening presents

 I dag holdte vi en lille dansk fødselsdag for pigerne. Egentlig er deres fødselsdage først i oktober og december, men de fortalte os, at de ikke er vant til at få fejret deres fødselsdage. Christina var vildt god og stod tidligt op og gik til bageren og pyntede op til hyggelig fødselsdag.
Pigerne fik hver en lille gave fra Emilies familie; en fin ring hver.

Today we held a little Danish birthday for the girls. Actually their birthdays are in October and December but they told us that they aren't used to celebrating their birthdays. Christina was so nice and got up early, went to the bakery and put up decorations. 
The girls each got a little gift from Emilie's family; a nice little ring each.

Fra 10-12 besøgte vi Limfjordsskolen i Løgstør. Det er en kostskole for udviklingshæmmede unge, og Emilies far, Klaus er forstander på skolen. Vi fik en rundvisning og Klaus fortalte om skolen og hvordan skolesystemet i Danmark fungerer generelt, hvilket er meget anderledes fra Honduras.

From 10-12 we visited "Limfjordsskolen" in Løgstør. It is a boarding school for disabled and handicapped young people and Emilie's father, Klaus is the headmaster at the school. We got a tour of the school and Klaus told about the school and how the Danish school system works which is very different from Honduras.

I aften lavede vi honduransk mad til de unge fra Bethel-kirken i Aalborg. Elvia og Sheily bestemte menuen og styrede os rundt i køkkenet. Efter vi havde spist holdte vi vores sidste præsentation i Danmark og ud over præsentationen blev der også leget - denne gang stole-dans. Da aftenens program var overstået blev pigerne hentet af Leif, hos hvem de skal være de næste dage ind til vi skal med flyveren til Honduras på søndag. Christina er med toget hjem og Emilie er hjemme i Aars.

Tonight we made Honduran food for the youth from the Bethel Church in Aalborg. Elvia and Sheily decided on the menu and directed us around the kitchen. After the dinner we held our last presentation here in Denmark and beside the presentation we also had time to play a game - this time it was dancing chairs. Then Leif came to pick up the girls and until Saturday they are going to stay with him and his family. Christina is on her way home and Emilie is home in Aars.
