Yesterday we had another workshop about finances but this time it was with the level 1 group. The concept was exactly like the last time, but this time we had some of the youth from the level 2 group to help out. The youth from the level 2 group sad by the different stations. It went really well and the youth caught on to the activity quite easily and the level 2's did a great job helping the others.

Youth & Sexuality

Sunday we had a workshop about youth and sexuality. Both youth groups participated in the workshop and besides that about 60 young people from local churches participated as well. All together we were about 120 people, so it was the largest event that we have had so far.
A doctor came from Tegucigalpa and talked about sex, sexuality - both from a medical view but also from a biblical point of view. After the meeting Sheily and Alexander had ordered five big birthday cakes, which were eaten by the 120 participants.
All in all it was a success and we were all very happy about the event.

The day before we left for vacation we went with a group of the youth down to Guaimaca to give out clothes in one of the poorest parts of town. We had some of  Americans from a team with us. It was the first time that we went to give out clothes and also the first time we saw that part of town. It was a very interesting and very good experience.

Update fra Costa Rica

The Beach!!

On the little island

A part of our now daily routine; a juice or smoothie!

Another place, that we have visited a lot!!

Man faar virkelig moedt mange forskellige mennesker!

Here is a small update from our vacation in Tamarindo, Costa Rica. We live in a hostel called Tamarindo Backpackers. It is a really nice place and we have almost only met nice people while staying here. We have relaxed a lot, enjoyed the sun, the ocean, the beach, the sunset, good food and good company! We went on a kayak trip to this small island made of lava and sea shells. We went there with our guide, who looks like Crocodile Dundee. He showed us around the island and told us a lot about it. After our trip around the island, we went snorkling. We saw a lot of colorful fish!  After almost three hours we turned back towards the main land.
In the eight days that we have stayed here, we have shared room with four americans, one guy from Costa Rica, a girl from Sweeden, a guy from Argentina and now two girls from England! You really get to meet a lot of different kind of people!
Taday is our last day in Tamarindo, because tomorrow we are going to Liberia, to buy our bus tickets for our busride back to Honduras on Monday!
